Travelling

School starts for me tomorrow.  In the course of a year I lead a bipolar existence.  During the school year my life is centered on teaching and all that it entails.  I try to squeeze some personal time in there, but it is not always easy.  During summer I take care of personal business, with a bit of school on the side.

This summer I made two trips north.  I saw three loons on a lake.  I put my toes in the northern Atlantic.  I slept with the windows open.  I was cold without the aid of A/C.  I ate bagels, fresh bagels.  I went to church in four different states. I saw sunrises and sunsets.  I spent time with my husband, my children, my siblings, my Mom.  I spent a great deal of time at my own home.  What a wonderful summer.

My alarm is set for tomorrow.  Hi-ho, it's off to work I go.  Some things have changed at my school. I am looking forward to the alarm going off tomorrow.  It will be good to see my school family and getting to work.  Oh, don't worry, there will be time for personal things, and plenty of time for me spend at my own home, too.
